11 Ways to Make Money with Chalk Couture

When I was thinking about joining Chalk Couture, one of the things that attracted me most to the business opportunity with Chalk Couture, was the multitude of different ways to make money with Chalk Couture.

I love how each person is free to run their Chalk Couture business how they choose. There is no "standard" way to work, and you get to pick and choose what resonates with you. Here's 11 different ways that top performers with Chalk Couture earn money. Look at this list and see what resonates with you.

Web Site Sales – All direct sales companies have online ordering. When you join Chalk Couture, you are given a web site that will enable you to take orders online, sign up club couture members, and sponsor new teammates. You receive commission based on the orders received, and Chalk Couture does all the processing and shipping for you.
Person to Person Sales – As a Designer, we are given a generous 40% discount on all of our purchases. That also means that you can buy something at your Designer discount, and then sell direct to your customers for retail price. This gives you an "instant" commission for the difference in price, and you deliver directly to your customer.
Club Couture Members – When someone joins Club Couture with you, they receive an awesome exclusive Chalk Transfer, plus 3 Chalk Paste Singles, and instructions on how to complete the monthly design. You get commission on each of these orders every month. Having Club Couture members is a great way to generate residual income each month.
Workshops – A fun way to earn money with Chalk Couture is to hold workshops. These can be in person, or virtual. With a workshop, participants pre-order a project from you, and then everyone meets on a scheduled day to make the project together. The participants get to take home their finished projects. One variation of this is to have your customer order one of the Chalk Couture Surfaces from you, with a small fee to use your Chalk Transfers and Chalkology Chalk Pastes to create their finished project.
Pop-Up Shops – A Pop-Up Shop is an informal, fun, home-based way to showcase and sell Chalk Couture products. Typically, a Designer will partner with a host or hostess to hold the open-house-style event where customers can drop by, see what Chalk Couture is all about, and shop, either from inventory you have on hand or by filling out order forms you can use to place orders on their behalf afterward.
Project Box or Bundle Deals – A project box is a bundle deal that you put together so that your customers can make a specific project. The only limit here is your imagination, and you can put together a fun craft box…it can be simple, or you can include embellishments…whatever you want! You can offer this bundle publicly at full retail price, or at a discount for your email subscribers or VIP Group members. Events and Expos – Spread the words and expand your customer base with an event or expo. These are great ways to increase your audience in your community. Vendor events and expos range from small to large, and you can sell inventory, take orders, offer project kits, or even sell your finished pieces. A vendor event is a great way to meet new people who will become future customers, hostesses, or teammates.
YouTube Videos and Facebook Lives – I love this option, because I enjoy doing live videos and interacting with my audience while showcasing a Chalk Couture project. This is a fun way to show the products in action, and advertise your business. During your video, you can mention the various ways that people can get started with you…as a customer, ordering your project box (see #5 above), joining Club Couture, or joining your team. Since YouTube videos and Facebook lives tend to get shared, it's also a great way to expand your reach to new people. You can make videos part of your social media marketing strategy. Selling Finished Pieces – You are also free to sell anything you make, and there are many options for listing your artwork including Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, CraigsList and local sale groups. In addition, you can also sell your pieces by partnering with local shops in your area. We have Designers who join just to use the Chalk Couture products to create beautiful pieces to sell.
Business Pages and VIP Group – Because this is a business, you can create a Facebook business page to market your Chalk Couture business. Your Facebook business page can be a great resource, and there are many benefits exclusive to Facebook business pages that you can use, such as the "shop" feature, and Facebook advertising. As your business grows, you will build a loyal following, and by creating a closed VIP Group, you can also offer specials and deals to your loyal customers to increase retention and gather repeat orders.
Building a Team – One of the best ways to increase your income with your Chalk Couture business is to share the opportunity with others. As you begin to build a team, you will receive overrides and bonuses, which can increase your income exponentially. For those serious about making money, sponsoring and sharing is the way to go, and it's so fulfilling to see others succeed on your team! Truly the best feeling in the world.
